Avni Hajdari

Avni Hajdari is a researcher and professor at the University of Prishtina with over a decade of experience in the field of ethnopharmacology. His research primarily focuses on collecting traditional ecological knowledge, assessing plant’s chemical and genetic diversity, and evaluating their biological activities. He has worked closely with local communities in Kosovo and Albania to document traditional ecological knowledge and explore the role of plants in traditional medicine and nutrition. By taking an interdisciplinary research approach, he has successfully implemented numerous projects, published research articles, and represented the University of Prishtina at national and international conferences.
