Guidelines for Presenters

 

As the time for the 2nd Panhellenic Congress of Ethnopharmacology, approaches we are glad to share with you the oral and poster technical specifications of your presentation.

Oral Specifications

  • The total duration of your presentation may vary (15’, 20’, 30’,) as you have been notified by the Secretariat.
  • Congress computers will run on Windows 11 and can access all previous PowerPoint version files:(Preferred 16:9).
  • The recommended software to be used during a Presentation is Microsoft Office PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx).
  • Available equipment includes Laptop, Projector, and Wireless Pointer.
  • Images in the file should be “.jpg” or “.png” format at minimum dpi resolution.
  • If videos (only embedded to the Presentation) are to be projected, the Congress Technical Secretariat should be informed the latest during presentation deliver.
  • Mac users are requested to test beforehand that the slides run on a Windows version of PowerPoint.
  • The projector at the venue will only support HDMI input. Presenters who wish to use their own laptop should check if it is equipped with a VGA or HDMI outlet. If the laptop does not support VGA or HDMI outlet (e.g., Mac), presenters are required to bring their own VGA adapter cable.

Otherwise you can also deliver your presentation onsite to the Technical Secretariat and at least 2 hours before your presentation.

Poster Specifications

A poster area is available for poster presentations. The posters will be displayed according to the program on appropriately numbered boards. The dimensions of each poster should be 90 cm wide and 120 cm (max) high.

The Posters are printed versions. You are requested to bring your own Poster to the Congress Venue.

Accepted posters must be presented under the topic which are indicated in the program.

Presenting authors are kindly asked to mount their posters on the 1st day of the congress using material provided by the Congress Secretariat.
